PEER ManCoRe Team Member Presents at ISEDCAB 2023

The University of Nottingham Malaysia, with the support of the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Core-to-Core Program, held its first International Symposium on Environmental DNA for Conservation and Biomonitoring in Southeast Asia (ISEDCAB) 2023.

PEER ManCoRe team member, Camila Naputo, presented a poster entitled “Applications and Limitations of  eDNA Metabarcoding to Assess Fish Biodiversity in the Seascape of Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon, Eastern Philippines.” This study is part of PEER ManCoRe’s research objective to assess the biodiversity of its mangrove project sites through the eDNA method. It’s made possible with the collaborative support of Professor Tadashi Kajita and the Tropical Biosphere Research Center, University of the Ryukyus.
