Guidelines for the Proceeding Manuscript

The 3rd State of the Mangrove Summit: Central and Eastern Visayas will be held in Tacloban, Leyte on 23 March 2018. We are thankful to Guiuan Development Foundation, Inc. (GDFI) and University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College (UPTVC) for agreeing to co-sponsor the event.

The summit will have participants from the provinces of Central and Eastern Visayas (Bohol, Cebu, Siquijor, Leyte, So. Leyte, Biliran, No. Samar, Samar and Ea. Samar) as well as the municipalities of Guiuan (Samar) and Palompon (Leyte).

The following provinces already sent their response to the survey (Status of Mangroves) we’ve sent last June 21, 2017:

1. Samar
2. Leyte
3. Cebu
4. Northern Samar
5. Bohol
6. Southern Leyte
7. Palompon, Leyte

We’ve already sent the invitations for the Summit through email and via LBC Express delivery.

If possible, please do send your PowerPoint presentations a week before the Summit through email (email addresses: eunicegianan@yahoo.com / mangroveecologyph@gmail.com).

Also, please do purchase your tickets (to/from Tacloban, Leyte) and keep the original official receipts/tickets and we will reimburse you. 

The Summit will be held at the Faculty Conference Room, University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College.
