During one of its regular Sangguniang Bayan (SB) meetings in January 23, 2023, PEER ManCoRe was invited by the local government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro to present its Year 1 highlights and plans for 2023. Presenter Dr. Severino G. Salmo III, PEER ManCoRe project leader, joined by Dr. Leilani Dacones, faculty member of the Institute of Biology UP Diliman, were in attendance during the meeting, which was participated by all the members of SB. Another one of the project’s valued partners from the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Agricultural Office was also in attendance, represented by Ms. Marilyn Alcanices. Overall, it was a successful meeting that further strengthened the PEER ManCoRe’s partnerships with one of its project sites, the Local Government of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.
