Our now-complete team (with the Research Assistants already!) met with the US collaborators last Mar 29, 2022. The project entitled “Assessment and Comparison of Recovery of Biodiversity and Carbon Sequestration in Philippine Mangroves Among Natural, Replanted and Naturally-recolonized Mangrove Stands” is implemented in cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) program. The meeting was called to discuss project updates including field works conducted and planned activities.
