Mangrove Research in Oriental Mindoro

Courtesy visit with the Provincial Agriculture Office (PAgO) of Mindoro was held prior to field sampling. The PAgO assisted the team in locating possible project sites and coordinating with the municipal governments to secure sampling permits.

Site validation and preliminary field sampling were conducted and took place on 21-24 March 2022. With the team from MinSU and LGU, the project team was able to document Natural, Replanted and Naturally-recolonized  Mangrove Stands.
