The team headed by Dr. Sev Salmo paid a courtesy visit to Ormoc City Mayor Richard I. Gomez at the City Mayor’s Office last April 19, 2022. Mangrove areas in Ormoc are one of the identified locations for the research project “Assessment and Comparison of Recovery of Biodiversity and Carbon Sequestration in Philippine Mangroves Among Natural, Replanted and Naturally-recolonized Mangrove Stands”.
