We proudly congratulate our very own PhD student, now Dr. Maria Elisa Gerona-Daga.
Dr. Gerona-Daga gained the Best Dissertation and Most Outstanding PhD Student Awards from the Institute of Biology, UP Diliman. Her hardwork and excellence are clear evidence of her commitment to mangrove biology and ecology. All of us from IB’s WATER Lab were inspired of her dedication and academic excellence. Miss El will now return to UP Tacloban College, where she’ll continue to inspire students and contribute to the nation’s scientific advancement.
