Russel Christine B. Corcino Wins Best Presenter for Blue Carbon Web Platform at an International Conference

Congratulations to Russel Christine B. Corcino!

Russ was a Research Assistant for the research project led by Dr. Salmo titled, “Integrated network-based management for SEA Coasts”. She was awarded the Best Presentation Award for delivering the presentation on the research paper titled “Blue Carbon PH: A Web Platform for Accounting Blue Carbon in the Philippines.” The presentation was part of the 1st International Conference on Science and Computing (ICSCI) held in Cebu City, Philippines, from October 28–30, 2024. The research focused on the development of a web platform for tracking blue carbon, which is significant for climate change mitigation efforts in the Philippines.
